How to start hosting
Ready to sign up? We’ll guide you through how to create your listing and share it with guests. To get started, you’ll just need a comfortable space and a few nights of availability.
Guests are screened and approved
We screen each guest to confirm that they’re eligible to book a stay through our program, and meet Airbnb’s standard verification checklist. You’ll be able to ask questions and chat with any potential guest throughout the booking process.
We’re here for you
You’ll have access to 24/7 support for every step of the stay. You’re also protected by the Host Guarantee, which provides $1,000,000 USD in property damage protection.
Donate to stays.
Millions of people around the world are displaced from their homes due to conflict and disaster. Donations help cover the cost of temporary accommodations.Donate now
100% of your donation supports people in crisis.
We waive all service fees, so every dollar you donate helps people find a place to stay when they need it most. Your contribution can help a refugee family find a place to stay when they first arrive, or a relief-worker get some rest after a long day.
How your donation goes further
Airbnb is donating too
We have a team of nonprofit and technology experts who are working hard to increase our impact. Airbnb covers all the operational costs to make that possible, and they contributed 400,000 shares to help fund this work.
All processing fees are waived
We never take a cut, so every dollar you donate helps people find housing when they need it most.
Donations are tax deductible
Your donation is tax deductible to the extent allowable under local laws. You’ll receive a tax receipt to help you keep track of your deduction.
